Something About Me

My name is Mallory. I am an undergraduate student in the Math Education program at The University of Georgia- go dawgs! I plan to graduate in December of 2015. After graduating I plan to either teach internationally or work with a nonprofit before pursuing a teaching career in America. Over the past two years I have spent a total of 16 weeks working with a nonprofit in Kenya, where the majority of their work centers at a school in a remote area within the country. I love to travel and experience different cultures. The fun things about math is that it is pretty much the same in all areas of the world. I started college as a Genetics major, but quickly reaized that I enjoyed math more than science, and spending time with kids more than time in a laboratory.
